[ARCHIVED] Safe Surrender Program

The Southaven Police Department will host its first Safe Surrender Program this month. This program will allow subjects to resolve Bench Warrants by paying 50% of their fine amount. Afterwards you will be allowed to make payments on the remaining amount. If you comply with all court orders, instructions and honor the payment plan, no other warrants will be issued and you will never be arrested.
This program will consist of several stages: You will speak to an Officer and provide your personal information to verify your identity, pay the 50% to the court clerks, set up your payment plan for the remaining 50%, see the judge and most import: YOU WILL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE. You will not be arrested for your outstanding Bench Warrant.
Subjects who have active Bench warrants for their arrest will receive a letter that explains in detail the steps to avoid arrest and participate in this program.
If you have not received a Warrant notification letter, but you want to see if you have any warrants, click the link below to view the Active Bench Warrant list. This list includes all active bench warrants which include contempt of court and violation of probation warrants.
